About
Sue grew up in Melbourne and completed studies in church music before teaching piano. She worked as a musician and pastoral care worker in the LCANZ from 1996–2011, as well as a stint as an assistant Lutheran hospital chaplain. She then pursued training in Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) supervision and education, and has taught and supervised for 10 years in CPE, most recently as an adjunct lecturer within the University of Divinity. Sue has worked in pastoral care in healthcare settings for fourteen years, specialising in the clinical areas of palliative care, veterans & PTSD, aged care and mental health, as well as taking up a management role. In Semester 2, 2023 she takes up a new call to serve as Pastoral Associate – Child, Youth and Family ministry at St Paul’s Lutheran Church Box Hill.
