Attend Fritzsche Oration online or in person

ALC in partnership with the LCA Committee for Lutheran Archives is pleased to present the annual Fritzsche Oration. The orator, Rev Dr Jeffrey Silcock, will draw on his experiences as a member of the International Lutheran—Orthodox Commission to present on the topic, ‘Where East Meets West: Highlights from the International Dialogue between the Lutheran World Federation and the Eastern Orthodox Church.’

Who are the Eastern Orthodox? How did the LCA become involved when it is not even in dialogue with the Orthodox? Who sponsors the dialogue and how does it work? What are some of the outcomes of this dialogue? These are some of the topics that will be covered in this lecture.
