Board of Directors farewells Nathan Klinge
At its September meeting, the ALC Board farewelled director Mr Nathan Klinge, who tendered his resignation due to additional work demands caused by the impact of COVID-19 on the aged care sector (Nathan is the CEO of RSL Care SA).
Nathan joined the Board following nomination at the 2013 General Convention of Synod and spent 5 of his 7 years of service fulfilling various office-bearer positions—Secretary, Vice-Chair and then Chair, appointed to this position in 2019 on recommendation by the General Church Board (GCB).
During his term Nathan actively contributed to the development of a new Strategic Direction for ALC, which has brought about some much needed change at the College.
Speaking on behalf of the ALC community Principal James Winderlich said, 'I would like to extend our sincere thanks to Nathan for his service to the College. Despite his very busy schedule, Nathan always found time for ALC. His business expertise, together with his effective and outstanding leadership, will be sorely missed.'
The College awaits a decision from GCB regarding a replacement Chair.
