'Centenary of the UELCA' - recording now available

One hundred years ago in March 1921, the United Evangelical Lutheran Church in Australia (UELCA) was formed by the uniting of five Australian Lutheran synods. On the afternoon of 8 June 2021, members from the wider Church community including Friends of Lutheran Archives, joined ALC staff and students on campus and online to learn more about this historic event at the annual Fritzsche Oration.

If you weren’t able to attend this talk, it’s not too late to hear Rev Dr Dean Zweck tell the story that led to this milestone event, and its significance for the eventual union of almost all Australian Lutherans as one church body in 1966. A recording of Centenary of the UELCA is now available.
