ALC is seeking a VET Development Officer to join their VET team.
Position: VET Development Officer (0.6 FTE)
Australian Lutheran College (ALC) is the tertiary education provider of the Lutheran Church of Australia. The college provides education and training for people studying Higher Education degrees and Vocational Education and Training awards.
Applications are invited for the position of VET Development Officer with ALC. This position will be responsible for the development of the content and delivery of a new VET course.
ALC observes and applies Work Health and Safety, Equal Employment Opportunity and Quality Assurance policies and procedures, and maintains a student-centred approach.
- A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, and/or
- A teaching qualification
- A qualification at diploma level or higher in a field relating to Christian ministry and theology
- An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
Skills and experience
- Skills in content writing, online design experience and understanding of the VET sector
- Experience in training/teaching

The successful applicant will be willing to work in the tertiary education and training environment of the Lutheran Church and actively demonstrate empathy and understanding for the needs of the Church and its community.
Award/Employment terms: ALC Employee Enterprise Agreement
Employment type: 18-month contract
