Adam was ordained in December 2000 after graduating from ALC (then Luther Seminary) and served his first call as a parish pastor in the Hamilton Lutheran Parish, Victoria, before heading to Concordia Seminary St Louis for graduate school in 2007. Prior to coming to ALC he taught for four years as an Assistant Professor of Old Testament at Concordia University Irvine, California.
