Library use policy
Read the ALC Library Use Policy for guidelines for library members and guests in making the best use of the library and policy relating to acceptable use of the library’s resources.
Interlibrary loan/document delivery
The Interlibrary loan/document delivery policy details who is eligible for these services, what may be requested, how to place a request and when charges may be incurred.
Eligible members are able to request photocopies of journal articles or extracts from books that are not held in the ALC Library collection: email ALC Library.
Computer usage policy
The ALC Library provides a number of computers for registered library patrons to access Office programs, the internet, CD-ROMs and passworded online databases. All computers are networked to a printer and payment should be made at the front desk (see Photocopying, scanning and printing).
Conditions of use:
- You must be a current member of the library to use the internet, word processors, CD-ROMs and online databases.
- Patrons using the computing facilities must comply with all laws that protect intellectual property rights.
Copyright notices outlining legal limits are displayed alongside the computers.
24-Hour Study Zone
The ALC Library provides a 24/7 study area for study and research purposes, with study spaces, computers, photocopier and scanning facilities. Access is via authorised key card. To apply, complete the ALC Library after hours access form.
