Graduation

All ALC higher education courses are accredited through the University of Divinity. ALC graduating students have the option to attend a graduation ceremony run by the University.

Students unable to attend the graduation ceremony are awarded their qualification in absentia.

Conferral of an award is subject to satisfactory course completion by the specified date and contingent upon payment of all outstanding fees.

For further information see University of Divinity graduation

Graduation process

Graduation is not an automatic process: online registration to graduate at a ceremony, either in person or in absentia, is made available to eligible students prior to the ceremony date. See Graduation eligibility process.

Information regarding the ceremony is emailed to graduating students closer to the date.

Survey for award graduates

Each year University of Divinity graduates are invited to participate in the Graduate Outcomes Survey (GOS). The GOS is a national survey being conducted for the Australian Government Department of Education and Training as part of Quality Indicators for Learning and Teaching (QILT). It is designed to collect information about the experience of each student during their course and the type of work or further study being undertaken after completing a course.

Student feedback is very important and will contribute directly to the experience of current and future students. All responses are confidential and no personal information will be linked to graduates’ responses. Please take time to complete the survey to assist our future students.

The GOS is administered by the Social Research Centre. For more information go to the Graduate Outcomes Survey.
