ALC attends district events in Victoria

Earlier this month, ALC’s Principal Dr Tim Stringer attended the LCANZ Victorian/Tasmanian District’s Pastors Conference and Synod. At the Pastors Conference, Dr Stringer and Pastor Hans Peetala shared news of ALC’s involvement in training a small group of Specific Ministry Pastors in partnership with the Holy Trinity congregation at Horsham and also reminded pastors of the role they play in encouraging others to study for service in the church.

During the Synod, Dr Stringer updated delegates on ALC’s ongoing work, promoted study opportunities, participated in a mission focussed panel discussion and connected with many of ALC’s Victorian based students who were in attendance.

Reflecting on the visit, Dr Stringer said, ‘I am always appreciative of an invitation to share updates on ALC with the various Districts.

A highlight of this recent Synod was sharing the wonderful news that Victoria currently has 10 students undertaking ministry and theology studies at ALC.’
