Have you thought about a career as a Christian counsellor?
As rates of mental distress continue to rise in Australian communities, the need for well-trained and faith-aware counsellors is greater than ever. In response, ALC has partnered with the University of Divinity to offer a Bachelor of Counselling qualification.
This degree focuses on contemporary social issues, clinical best practice and spiritual integration. It is designed to equip students to walk alongside those struggling with mental health issues, providing support grounded in hope, courage and compassion. The course is accredited by the Australian Counselling Association and affirmed by the Christian Counsellors Association of Australia and students are taught by experienced clinicians and academics who guide them in developing both practical competence and spiritual wisdom.
The next intake for the Bachelor of Counselling will be for Semester 1 2026, which begins on 23 February 2026. Applications must be submitted by early February.
