New Director of Library Services welcomed

ALC is pleased to welcome Catherine Manning as its new Director of Library Services.Catherine officially commenced in the role on 21 January and will work in ALC's library three days a week.

Catherine is also currently working in the library team at the City of Prospect as the Local History Officer and has a wealth of experience working with museum collections, exhibitions and digital content as a curator. She has also worked in public libraries within the City of Charles Sturt.

‘While I am new to the Lutheran community, my history background has given me an appreciation of the important role the Lutheran Church has played in South Australia’s history, and I look forward to learning more about the library collection, and getting to know the community at ALC.’

Catherine replaces the former Director of Library Services, Shaun Lancaster, who passed away suddenly in June 2025.
