College farewells Pastor Richard Haar

Pastor Richard Haar retired earlier this month and was farewelled by his colleagues on Friday, 5 July.

Richard commenced work at ALC in 2016, having accepted the call of the Church to serve as Lecturer in Systematic Theology. During his time at ALC,
in addition to his regular duties, he fulfilled various other roles, serving as Coordinator of History and Systematics Studies and welcoming new students and visitors in his capacity as Overseas Student Support Officer.

In the past year or so, Richard was also instrumental in developing and overseeing the implementation of ALC’s revised formation program. 

As a parting gift to the College, Richard had his well-organised lecture notes bound. These were then presented to ALC's library for future reference, at his farewell.
