Annual Appeal
Each year ALC appeals to members of the LCANZ to help us to prepare pastors, teachers and church workers for service in congregations, schools, aged and community care organisations.
The appeal is usually launched in May or June each year.
2025 Annual Appeal
You might be wondering why ALC is holding an annual appeal again this year, when you’ve heard that the campus sold for millions of dollars? The truth is that the property was owned by the LCANZ and ALC does not directly benefit from the sale.
ALC remains reliant upon the LCANZ to subsidise its operational costs. While we are grateful for this support, ALC will have a budgeted shortfall of over $200,000 in 2025. Adding to this situation is the fact that ALC is facing significant additional one-off expenses this year, associated with vacating the campus and relocating the library.
Your donation will ensure that ALC can continue to have the necessary resources to train and prepare God’s people to serve as pastors, teachers and church workers.

How can you help?
- Encourage people to train for service in the LCANZ as pastors, teachers, chaplains and lay workers.
- Organise a retiring offering in support of ALC in your congregation.
- Pray for
- the staff who serve at the College in many and varied roles;
- the students who are enrolled at ALC from all over Australia, New Zealand and the Asia Pacific;
- that more people will feel called and encouraged to study at ALC in order to meet the needs of the Church; and
- that ALC’s appeal might be well received and supported.
